Godaddy is a very Popular Domain Registrar and Hosting Provider.
Installing WordPress on Godaddy is very easy and you can Install it under 1-minute Timespan.
I know many of you are not Starting your Blogs because of this single issue of Installing Self Hosted WordPress.
So let’s get started to Install WordPress.
How to Install WordPress on Godaddy
The First thing you need to do is Purchase any Plan, I would suggest you the starting plan of Godaddy.
I have already purchased the Plan. Enter your Godaddy’s Dashboard.
In Managed WordPress Section, Click Set up.
If you are Installing Brand new WordPress Site, Click on Build Brand New Site and Proceed.
If you want to Migrate Existing Wordpress Site you can Proceed with Migrate an Existing Site Option and Godaddy will do the process for you, But you need to Backup your WordPress Data. You can use All in one WP Migration or Updraft Plugin to do that.
Add the Domain and Click Next.
In this case, I am adding my own Domain and Installing it for the Tutorial.
In this step you need to choose the Data Center. If your Audience is in the Europe Region, You can proceed with selecting Europe as your Data Center.
If your Audience is from America Region you can Select North America Region.
I’m Selecting North America because my audience is mostly in USA and India.
Bonus Tip: You should also Implement CDN on your Website or Blog to Improve Speed across all regions.
You need to Set your WordPress Username and Password. For the Installation, you can add any username or Password. You can change the username and password after you enter WordPress Dashboard.
After Installation of WordPress, You need to Enter the Login Details on WP-Admin Login Page, So be careful in adding username and password.
The login Page of WordPress will be https://www.example.com/wp-admin or https://www.example.com/wp-login.php
Click on Install after adding username and password and Your WordPress Installation starts. You do not have to do anything, It installs automatically.
That’s it, You have successfully Installed WordPress. Click on Go to Dashboard and you will Enter WordPress Dashboard.
You need to Login to your WordPress Dashboard by Adding wp-admin after your domain.
You need to have to Enter WordPress Dashboard everytime from Godaddy Panel.
